Bingshan Sonyo Refrigeration's double carbon innovation achievements make a grand appearance at the 2025 China Refrigeration Exhibition


From April 27th to 29th, 2025, the 36th International Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation, and Food Freezing Processing Exhibition (2025 China Refrigeration Exhibition) was grandly opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As a leading enterprise in the refrigeration industry, Bingshan Songyang Refrigeration made a stunning appearance with the theme of "Intelligently Creating a Dual-Carbon Future," showcasing multiple innovative achievements and demonstrating its pioneering strength in green energy transformation through both technology displays and strategic signings.


At the exhibition, the company highlighted two core strategic achievements: 
First, the world's first intelligent hybrid air-source heat pump unit. It innovatively integrates an electricity-driven compressor and a gas engine-driven open compressor in parallel within the same refrigerant circuit, constructing a dual-energy (electricity/gas) intelligent switching system. This technological breakthrough effectively solves the problem of efficiency degradation in traditional heat pumps under low-temperature conditions. Tests show that it maintains high heating efficiency even in extreme environments, with operating costs reduced by more than 50% compared to conventional units. This product won the exhibition's highest honor, the "Innovation Product Award," upon its debut. 
Second, the company launched a systemic solution for energy conservation and emission reduction in the industrial sector. By showcasing 12 benchmark applications of lithium bromide absorption technology in industries such as steel and chemicals, it presented for the first time a three-in-one industrial energy-saving system encompassing "waste heat cascade utilization, waste energy regeneration and transformation, and cold and heat applications." One petrochemical company project achieved a reduction of 30,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, with energy savings reaching 10 million yuan per year, providing a replicable technical model for the transformation of high-energy-consuming industries.

 


On the first day of the exhibition, Bingshan Songyang Refrigeration completed two strategic signings: a joint construction of "Industrial Waste Heat Comprehensive Utilization Cooperation" with Harbin Institute of Technology, focusing on breakthroughs in high-efficiency conversion technology for non-clean energy; and a "Hybrid Heat Pump Industry Ecological Alliance" with Beijing Zhongke Huaxuan Energy, planning to build a clean heating network covering heating areas within three years. These two collaborations not only achieve deep integration of "production, learning, research, and application," but also create a new cross-field collaborative carbon reduction model. 
The realization of dual-carbon goals requires the dual-wheel drive of technological revolution and industrial synergy. Bingshan Songyang Refrigeration will launch its "Systemic Solution for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction in the Industrial Sector" at the innovation forum on the 28th of the exhibition, further emphasizing: "We are transforming from an equipment manufacturer to a system energy efficiency service provider. In the next three years, we will continue to invest in research and development funds, focusing on tackling cutting-edge technologies such as new-generation absorption heat pumps and second-generation hybrid air-source heat pump systems to provide the industry with life-cycle energy conservation and emission reduction solutions." 
Through this exhibition, Bingshan Songyang Refrigeration not only demonstrated the technical strength of Chinese refrigeration companies, but also outlined a clear path for carbon neutrality implementation through ecological cooperation models, continuing to drive green transformation in the industry with innovation as its engine and injecting strong impetus into China's dual-carbon strategy.
